A graduate of Hallmark Institute of Photography, Michael has worked as an independent photographer for over the past ten years. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada, photographing people and places of interest. His professional background includes six years with Rich Croteau Associates Photography LLC in Waterbury, Connecticut, where he was a vital part of the digital presence. Prior to that, he was a lead staff photographer for the Cheshire Herald and worked for the Waterbury American. His images have appeared in many advertising pieces in the Connecticut and tri-state area.

After relocating to Massachusetts in 2002, Michael began working with Kodak as a digital camera representative. He currently heads the photography department at Alimed Inc. in  Dedham, MA and continues to work freelance projects. Michael has worked with a number of clients over the course of his career, including the Vermont Winter Special Olympics, the BradleyAirMuseum in Connecticut, Exposure Photo Studio in New York, LesleyUniversity, and The Art Institute of Boston at LesleyUniversity.
